Mark Rutta, a long-time member of the Oakland Yellowjackets, suffered a fatal heart attack during a ride on Saturday, April 16. He is remembered as good riding companion and as a friend to many in the Club.

Dear Yellowjackets,As you already know, Mark Rutta passed away on Saturday afternoon during the bike ride. His partner, Karen, and his sister, Elaine, are doing as well as can be expected. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at the Home of Eternity in Oakland, at 5000 Piedmont Avenue (the end of Piedmont Avenue). The Home of Eternity is down the road and to the left.
