Whether you are new to riding, training for your first organized ride, or even considering racing, this clinic is for you! The one day class, held on Saturdays/Sundays during the warmer months of the cycling season, takes place in a flat parking lot (no cars) at Miller-Knox Regional Park in Point Richmond and runs from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The cost is $55.00 per rider.
We will cover many skills during this 5 hour clinic, including basic handling, pedaling, braking, cornering and descending techniques, beginning paceline practice as well as offering helpful hints to further improve your skills. And while no one will be asked to attempt anything they do not feel comfortable doing, we will most certainly provide you with the necessary tools/instruction to perform the given tasks safely. This clinic will provide and fun and supportive environment to help you expand your skill set.
The clinic is limited to 20 per-registered riders, and it does usually fill up.
